This documentary chronicles the journey of Sudanese refugees, orphaned boys, as they trekked across the desert and lived for many years in a refugee camp. Eventually, the four men featured in the film were given the chance to move to America. Watching the men encounter our culture was fascinating. The comments, as presented by the documentary director, say as much about American culture as they do about the war-torn Sudan from which the men fled. This is an excellent, dramatic, and well-produced film. I recommend it, granting it a 4 out of 5.
